Robert McGaffin's passion for photography began in childhood. Always with a camera in hand, Robert was always interested in all things visual. Robert's career spans over 16 years of shooting product and advertising photography for several large corporate studios, such as Carson Pirie Scott, Saks, Enesco, and Bradford Exchange. Robert in known for his ability to handle a large variety of subject matter in a mulitiude of situations. His visual technique to his subject is driven by lighting, design, problem solving and most importantly, passion.
More recently Robert has shifted his focus to include his other passion, automobiles. Robert's passion for cars shows through in his images. After winning Popular HotRodding's annual photo contest, Robert has been a regular contributing editor for Popular HotRodding, Super Chevy, and Camaro Performers Magazines. Along with the magazines, Robert's clients include such notable builders as Troy Trepanier of Rad Rides by Troy and Jimi Day of Perfection Autosports. Whether working in studio or on location, it's an effortless transition for Robert. He is able to create an atmosphere where the client, photographer, and crew are relaxed and focused on creating great images. |
